Sharpen Preset edge sharpen size 20 level 4 soft edge 40 gently run along road way
Paint Tool Preset Ribbon size 10 transparency 85 soft edge 75 texture (something bumpy) run along roadway
I didn't like the way the road ended around the mountains so I went back to the Particle brush Preset leaf size 4 transparency 93 soft edge 0 and dabbed a few times to make it run into the clouds...then I decided I wanted a few clouds in front of the mountains .so I dabbed a few times there.

Warp tool size 20Preset slight warp level 40 soft edge 6 I reshaped the road a bit to widen near the front
Sharpen preset none size 20 level 4 soft edge 40 run along the roadway to give it some texture

Bristle brush Preset grass size14 transparency 20 add some grass to the left side above the roadway using very light and short strokes changing color 4 or 5 times in varying shades of green until you are just barely above the roadway when you stop
Let's put a small lake above the grass Use the eyedropper to pick up the darkest blue in the sky then choose a shade 3 or 4 shades darker

Paint tool Fat Marker size 12 Transparency 95 soft edge10 Draw in your lake and fill it in until there is just small amounts of foreground showing beneath it
Paint tool Preset Ribbon size 40 transparency 0 soft edge 100 2 or 3 shades deeper run along edges and wiggle mouse in lake to start to fill change to a lighter blue using the same settings except transparency 75 and then a very light blue transparency 95
Warp tool Preset fine warp size 10 level 100 soft edge 0 blend gently and shape

BristleBrush Preset pepper dot size 5 transparency 0 add some green to the back side of the lake
BristleBrush PresetGrass size10 transparency 0 run along front edge of lake
Paint tool Preset ribbon size 40 transparency 0 soft edge 100 texture (last one in top row)light and dark brown to start a texture to the left of the roadway
Paint tool Preset ribbon size 10-20 transparency 70 soft edge100 Dark brown choose a texture (if you dont like it undo and try again) then same settings switch to dark green to give the appearance of some foilage growing again same settings switch to white and add some highlight to your lake
Smudge size10 level 40 soft edge 20 gently blend along roadway and lake

Dodge Preset none 35 level 3 soft edge100 add a small highlight in lake
Burn Preset none 10 level 20soft edge 85 along edge of lake
Sharpen 20 level 4soft edge 95
along grass on edge of lake
Now we can start on the right side of the picture
Paint too lPreset ribbon pale grey size 40 transparency 98 soft edge 50 texture something that looks uneven like a rock face make it look like mountains way in the distance
Ribbon same settings except change transparnecy to 45 and color to deep brown make a mountain in your right lower corner alternating between light and dark colors
Paint tool Preset brick size 1 transparency 90 soft edge 10 and run along edge.
Warp tool Preset fine warp size 10 level 25 soft edge30 to smooth the edge slightly then sharpen it sharpen shape 20 level 4 soft edge 94
Paint tool brick size 3 trans 40 soft edge 0 make a tree trunk in a dark brown

Lets put some leaves on the tree Particle brush Preset leaf size 4 transparency 50 soft edge 0 and then sharpen
sharpen size 20 level 4 soft edge 60 across leaves and trunk

Chalk Preset splatter size 40 trans 0 light blue dab all over the lake

 

 

Working on the lake Bristle smearPreset fine smear size 80 level 50
Burn tool size 10 level 18soft edge 50 burn some shadows on the front mountain and under the tree and over the grass
Burn tool size 10 level 30soft edge 85 run along right side of road along front mountain and along left side to give a small shadow

I still wasn't quite happy with the lake so I used the Particle brush Preset leaf color white size 4 transparency 80-90 soft edge 0 and then bristle smear Presetfine smear size 20 level 65 to lighten and blend
Burn tool small level 3 make a small shadow along right edge of road

When you are satisfied Merge all

Add a Simple frame , sign it and sit back and admire your work. You earned it.I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial
