Painting Basics Project 2.... 6-18

In addition to reinforcing the 2 brushes we played with last week
we will be using the Particle brush and just touch on the Bristle brush.

Starting this time with a deep blue canvas
use the fine brush at about 50 transparency and 50-60 soft edge
and paint in a horizon outline on the bottom and a dark area to the left
this can be finetuned later

Use the ribbon preset in a dark grey for the background
of the upper mountain and then switch to a medium blue
only this time on your brush panel click on multi color
and outline the lower mountains then switching to a white
click on texture and run across the upper mountain
(I used paper 15 (the last one in the second row)

All I have done here is blur the multicolor blue at about
a level 2

Now we are going to use the particle brush -Preset leaf
for these few small clouds I have used Size 10 Trans 20
and soft edge 0

using the same settings
I have made a large cloud on the right

Still using the Particle brush but changing the settings to
size 30 trans 35 and soft edge 65 I have added more clouds
across the mountains .take the blur tool at about level 2 and gently blur
all of the clouds except the small ones

Using the paint tool fine brush shape square
put some lights in the bottom skyline .use different transparencies
and sizes also dragging the brush occasionally to vary the shape.

Using the Bristle brush -Split 2 at default settings
shape a couple of trees on your skyline
Now you can fine tune from here.I darkened up the sky a bit more
on the left and ran a more definite line with the paintbrush
on the skyline.
This was my finished picture after using the darken
